Works really well! Love the layout!

Great news app. It makes it easy to keep up to date with going ons and the world. Newsy does feel like it is much more unbiased than network news and that would support their multiple sources claims. They also have a wide variety of topics and dont bombard you with solely the negative stories - for instance they discussed National Penguin day on Jan. 20th, but also discuss viewpoints on Syrian refugees of moral responsibility and dangers of imperfect screening. Theyre app and website can be a bit glitchy at times, but I get over it.

I love the cast and update news all the time...

Lots of improvements on new version but Copy Link sharing function was take away. Also video feed scrolls up every time you finish watching a video.

This app is too reliant on pics & vids, which eat a lot of cellular data. I dont consume my news or pick stories based on pics. Give me real content! Too many news apps substitute cheap pretty pics for journalism, which degrades the whole field.

They do a great job with news and news updates. However the app lags and is cumbersome. Also, advertisements slow down viewing, causing me to go to Text. Just not quite there yet. I hope they change things up because I do like the news videos.

Fast, Practical & Theyre neutral most of the time...

Ive watched Newsy for several years, and I love their content and general format. But the new version of their app is awful. The menu has to be viewed with the screen vertical, so I constantly have to rotate my tablet between the menu and videos (the videos are best viewed in the horizontal orientation). Also, after I let a bunch of videos play, when I return to the menu, several videos that never played are always tagged as watched.

I starting using this when it first came out. Its a fun way to get the news ... Young people .....

the value of your content is worthless if I cannot hear it, some of us only listen to Newsy.

I have a brand new iPad mini 4 on iOS 9.2.1 and I cannot get Continuous play to work. Its switched in the on position along with auto start. Ive tried several resets including holding down both the on/off button and home button simultaneously. Judging from the comments it doesnt appear as if others are having this issue. Once before I had an issue with an older iPad. I left a review and someone from the developers team contacted me. Id appreciate if they can maybe reach out to me again. This is the only news app I use and I would like it to work properly.

Continues play doesnt work. If I select a topic or a category and try to play news from that category only it doesnt, always go back to playing all news. More than half of the time the app crashes. Sometimes it doesnt remember my settings. Its very frustrating to rely on an app that doesnt work most of the time. I guess the company doesnt care because it has no competition. Very annoying and very disappointing.

Ive been a huge fan of Newsy since the app was first released over 5 years ago. However, the latest version of the app is TERRIBLE, but has potential once all the bugs have been squashed. Videos never play on time, the format gets all distorted to moment you attempt to view in landscape mode. But the worst bug of all is that audio can begin playing even after youve exited the app, and at random times! Ill never forget the time I was in a business meeting at work, phone was asleep in my pocket and a Newsy article started playing at full volume! Come on guys, lets get this app functioning decently so us Newsy fans can actually view and appreciate the great content you have offer.

I love this app so much! I just wish the videos were longer.

Facebook only option? No Twitter? Really?

I like this app. Everything is need is well put together and videos are clever. I would like that once I have seen a video that the app would take me back to where I was in that order and not put me back at the top of the page. Otherwise it is a "staple" for my phone and iPad and any other new devises I get in the future. Thanks newsy! Susan W. Indianapolis
