You can tell the company is losing money and tightening budget at the cost of quality media. Notice how "top" stores are more gossip entertainment news. Some videos now have no Presentor but rather just a slideshow much like PowerPoint. I do believe this has the potential. After all Im a "customer" from the first 6months. But quoting another review "great app but getting worse and worse over time" Past reviews: Sometimes force quitting still plays the video in the background. Terrible app, use the website on a computer instead. Also I notice the news stories are getting less serious and more "entertainment/gossip" related. Quick and easy ratings are just that... Long term newsy will start a downturn

Great news source and have always been a fan of the videos. I especially appreciate that it gives J School students very worthwhile broadcast experience.

I like how the videos provide substantive commentary via a short video - good concept. Would be even better if you had more content. Nice work!

Look at all the other reviews for the list of bugs... The new version is completely unusable. Please fix it so I can get back to the great content.

They ask for a review so soon after download that they are hurting their average. I refuse to give a high rating when you demand a review after a single viewing of a clip...give me a break!

Newsy is awesome. I wish it would rotate on my tablet, but you cant beat the content or delivery.

Ive been using Newsy daily for a few years now. I have been using it less and less since this new app update. I have to switch from portrait to landscape every time I watch a video. Please read all the comments from people upset with the same issues and fix them to keep your customers happy.

Love the stories, love the unbiased perspectives. The videos freeze and dont start occasionally though.

This app use to be better ..now it crashes, freeze and is just useless.. The content and the news is good..but the app is trash...

Awesome US & world news.. Extremely good quality video .. Enjoy their app on Roku & iPhone... Will be nice if they are available on Xbox one too...

Always current and to the point

Very clean and well executed app. News is always up to data and has great videos and writing. Definitely my new favorite news app.

Im sorry about that, but the 5 stars should have always been there. This is my one and only video news app, I love it - get it, use it, love it ppl!!

Huge fan of Newsy! They take a well rounded look at news.

I have greatly enjoyed newsy over the years it has been offered but the app on my iPad Air 2 remains extremely buggy. It is slow and slower to update and show video. Over must use their excellent daily email or go online to the site, but the app on their iPad as it exists is terrible

Since the update, its been saying "Network Error: We tried to load more news, but it didnt work out. These stories may not be up to date." I cannot view any category nor watch any news feed.

Great app with a broad range of news, some stories I hadnt seen elsewhere. The app is fast to load on my iPhone6, original iPad mini and Apple TV. All work well. I only wish some of the clips were longer and went into more depth.

Its a good way to get just the headlines...no distractions. And most videos are very well done
