Brief current event videos I can show in class to my students.

Prior Review-"Since the last update,this app no longer works as smoothly as it used to.I dont know what the developers are waiting for,but as soon as they fix what they have broken I will change my star count from 3 to 5." Well it seems they have gotten the message and fixed whatever it was that was ruining the app before.Now its easier to use, stories and videos dont freeze up,and it looks smoother.Thanks for listening developers,my promised 5 star count is here.

Not only are they factual but all stories concisely explain why theyre important. Another bonus is that the people can speak well and I dont have to listen to their jokes and banter...unless I want to play that segment.

Newsy, the cast, crew and developers, are outstanding. Theyre passionate about their work and it shows in every in every segment produced. Newsy is a wonderful platform for anyone interested in cutting the cord from the old cable subscriptions. Available anywhere: Newsy is a must have.

I like the mechanics and professionalism Im not sure yet of its unbiased claim Ill give it 30 days before verifying that claim so far I like it Im a conservative and dont want opinions only straight up news

I actually get most of my news from written articles and always skip over any news with a video in it, but I love Newsy. Ive been using it for years. I like to listen/watch as Im getting ready for work each day. Thumbs up! Flawless app.

Perfect brief and objective way to get news

Unbiased news. What Ive always wanted.

Ive been using Newsy for a while now. It works well on droid and apple. They had some trouble with crashing a while back but they seem to have fixed that bug and even revamped the app a bit. The videos are concise and relatively unbiased (no "talking heads"

I found Newsy after subscribing to Sling TV. Having been a cable cutter for over five years and disappointed in the hyperbolic news, I was seeking a solid unbiased news source. Newsy so far seems to fit the bill. It is aimed at Millennials, but this aging baby boomer nay have found a news home. Walter Cronkite would be proud

Loved this app when it first came out, then it went downhill from there. Here is why: 1. Technical: I have this application on both my iPhone and my iPad and it crashes, hangs, or causes my iOS device to spontaneously reboot all the time. This seems to have become a bigger issue since they started doing the adds at the beginning of the videos. When an add is played, I have problems generally as soon as the add starts, when it goes right to the video, it generally seems to work. Perhaps a problem with the add integration? Not sure. When I went to the Apple store, they stated this is an oft reported issue with this app and they recommended getting rid of it, after we deleted and downloaded a new copy twice with the same issues reoccurring after each attempt on my iPad, cell phone, and one in the store we tried it on as well. So it technically is shaky at best and will provide countless frustrations and crashed applications and spontaneous rebooting of iOS devices. 2. Viewpoint: Newsy started with a great idea that I could really get behind, gather all the different viewpoints on a news story, from all the main news sources and give you a clear view of what each is saying in a concise video format, allowing you to draw your own conclusions. It has since changed very dramatically its formats and is now completely one sided in its reporting and stance on issues, no longer representing all of the different viewpoints. So it will only give you a very one-sided view of any story. Unfortunately, Newsy is truly "the good gone bad"... dont waste your time, look elsewhere!

Clean and concise No BS Who could ask for more.

I like the videos, I like the format I do not like how biased you are. Some of these videos or articles are so opinionated that Ive almost deleted the whole thing. One of the videos the newsman was trying to just read the script and the snarling and giggling made it obvious that he was so against this person. The trouble is many news stations are getting that way. What ever happened to you giving us the whole and honest story and letting us decide how we feel about something. In this politically charged year, I really wish all reporters would just give the news and let us choose who we are going to vote for. Other than that I would give you FIVE STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Maybe in December. Unless I have deleted you before that.

I sign in for the first time and all I see are articles trashing Trump. Im not even a Trump supporter but I cant stand the MSMs bs. This is no different.

Great news source. Very little if any bias. Do not get the stress you get with the constant hard sell if the networks. Just need a commercial free subscription option.

This site is an excellent source for news. They keep their biases pretty much to contained, and offer a glimpse at a lot of news in a short time frame. As with any news source you need other perspectives along with theirs, but they do a good job on what they do cover.
